Welcome to my website. My name is Glenn Gillard and I am the department head of social studies at Corner Brook Regional High School. I have been involved in education in many capacities over the past twenty years. During such time I have had the privledge to be involved with Newfoundland and Labrador's education system ranging from the school classroom to provincial levels. At the department level I have been involved with writing and evaluating curriculum outcomes for various courses in the provincial social studies program. Other levels of involvment have been with the executive of Humber Branch and with the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association.

My passion has been teaching social studies in hopes to expose students to the vast and dynamic world in which they live. It is also a passion to inspire, help and build confidence in student learning. With that, it is important that students know the correlation between work ethic and academic success.
